For nearly 40 years Matt has been selling, leasing and managing commercial and industrial property.
He spent three years broadening his experience in Jakarta and Singapore, transacting almost every type of commercial and industrial property and also in different countries.
His approach is set on four primary pillars including being connected, creative, commercial, and showing care.
Matt is third generation property, with his grandfather starting his business, Eric Weber & Co at 18, and his father, John Nichols being regarded as a renowned auctioneer. He has continued the auctioning tradition, including the lost art of chanting the bids.
Starting as a one-person company, the Nichols Crowder group has grown considerably to now 70 team members, and with this scale we can provide a complete uninterrupted service, at the highest level. The company is seen as “safe hands” for investors, owner occupiers and developers. This has led to around 600 properties being transacted annually and managing nearly 3,000 tenancies.
He loves his sport, including golf, cycling, tennis and surf skiing. Some of the challenges are at an extreme level, including cycling across the Simpson Desert or sailing downwind on the surf ski in 60 km per hour winds.
When catching up with Matt, you can quickly establish the genuine passion and enthusiasm, along with great insights, he offers about commercial and industrial real estate.
We’re proud to lease and sell, through auction and private sale, hundreds of commercial and industrial properties annually. Beyond that, our property management services extend across Melbourne, into regional Victoria and interstate. Our quest for innovation, real experience, unmatched database and the fact that we’re the only commercial and industrial agents with offices that stretch from Bayside to Moorabbin, Braeside to Dandenong and Carrum Downs to Mornington Peninsula has made us the Leaders of the South East.
