Well-known Melbourne gourmet food retailer, Gum Tree Good Food is soon to open a new store in Brighton, its fourth location since first opening in Middle Park back in 2009.

Like each of its other stores, the new one at 422 New Street will feature the best local produce and gourmet foods from Melbourne and surrounding regions

The 520sqm shop will be located in the new “Moda” mixed use development, designed and built by Bayside developer McKimm.

Facilitating the 7-year lease with options on the property was James Glen, Senior Sales and Leasing Executive at Nichols Crowder.

“This is a very exciting addition to Brighton, and a great fit for locals that demand quality food from the best suppliers in our wonderful state of Victoria,” explains Mr Glen. “Gum Tree Good Food required a large footprint, and this building is expected to meet all their needs.”

The “Moda” development, located approximately 600 metres to the beach, includes four exclusive residential apartments over three levels, as well as basement parking for customers.
