Large development sites in Melbourne’s South East regions continue to be popular in the market.  This has again been seen with the recent sale via an expression of interest campaign of 252-258 Lower Dandenong Road, Mordialloc.

The 8,301sqm site, which is currently leased on a short-term basis to a vehicle salvage business, attracted extensive interest from a range of potential buyers.  Its prominent location and access to key transport routes were key factors for many of these potential buyers.

The property was eventually acquired by a developer for an undisclosed price, with the intention of building a new petrol station at the front, and industrial warehouses at the rear.

Julian Vautin and David Garfield managed the marking campaign for the property, which was offered to the market for the first time in 78 years, and originally used as a market garden.
