- In July and August, plus early September, leasing has been the highlight which is a relief for many landlords. As anticipated lockdown has presented many challenges for businesses, however the momentum created in June flowed through to the ensuing months.
- Of the activity 30% was in sales and 70% leasing. Whilst pausing now, we are expecting leasing activity to pick up again once out of lockdown and inspections can resume.
- The industry types providing the most activity are: transport / logistics, construction / home maintenance, health & professional services, digital e-commerce, food-related preparation, distribution & packaging.
- Industrial property is showing great resilience as the premises are often flexible in terms of adapting to changing business needs.
