  • In the eight weeks of April and May, Nichols Crowder transacted 61 properties, with 26% of these transactions being sales, and 74% being leases. The main activity was coming from small business owners and operators.
  • 80% of the leasing activity was in the industrial sector and in properties less than 500sqm
  • The industry types providing the most activity were: Transport / logistics, Construction / home maintenance, Health & professional services, Digital e-commerce, Food-related preparation, distribution, packaging
  • Moving forward, we anticipate small businesses will remain active in the market, and medium-sized businesses will re-emerge post-lockdown to implement their changed business strategies.  In so doing many will relocate.
