Since Monday March 29 when Stage 3 restrictions came into effect, we have all been playing our role in helping stop the spread of COVID-19.
As restrictions are now easing, it is in these circumstances that none of us ever imagined, we find ourselves enormously proud and grateful to our clients and team alike.
Our clients, landlords in particular, have been not only very understanding but generous as well in working with their tenants. It has been heart-wrenching to hear the stories of how many small businesses have struggled. With most rent relief agreements now in place, we hope that this window of reprieve will enable businesses to adapt and innovate for the future.
There are many sayings around how the worst of times can bring out the best in people. This is certainly the case in terms of how we feel about our incredible team.
Serving our clients in such extraordinary times has been both reassuring and exhausting. By reassuring we mean we have been challenged, yet have risen to the occasion.
Our heavy investment in IT in recent years has meant our team, who have worked remotely for over 8 weeks have managed this seamlessly. Whilst some will continue to do so for the coming weeks, many have returned to the office, all four of which are now open.
