As we entered 2020, life in Victoria was good. Our well-performing economy created optimism and solid fundamentals for the commercial and industrial property market.

We felt this market optimism in Melbourne’s South East.

Enquiries in January were up 20%, compared with January 2019. Negotiations which had paused for the summer break, reconvened with extra momentum.  

Then came a global pandemic. The effects of which went both ways.  While many businesses struggled to the point of closure, we also saw many flourish.  In this year’s FY20 Annual Market Report we not only look at this extraordinary year but importantly, we focus on the impact on commercial and industrial property and provide insights for what’s ahead.
